How do I log in?

Your login for the conference is your ABCT account email and password you used to register for the conference.
Visit the virtual conference home page and click Log In in the header. If your name appears on the left side of the screen then you are already logged in. You may need to log in a 2nd time. Don’t worry, this is completely normal. Visit the Agenda and when it is time for your session to begin, simply click “View Session.”

How do I access the sessions?

You can access any of the sessions by clicking on “Agenda” in the top menu bar or on the home page. From there, click on any session title and access the “View Session” button. On the next page, click Enter Session. You can only enter sessions 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.

What do I need to attend sessions?

Below is what we recommend.

Device: It’s best to use a computer or laptop that has an updated internet browser.
Speakers: Sound is projected through your computer speakers, so make sure they work to hear the presenters.
Internet: It’s best to use a wired internet connection. A wired connection gives a consistent signal and consistent bandwidth, providing a better experience. Wifi is not recommended because the signal strength can vary.
Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari are the recommended browsers. Your browser must support HTML-5. To detect your browser version, run: https://whichbrowser.net

I am in the session but the video froze/I can’t hear the audio. What should I do?

If you are not able to hear any audio through your computer speakers first check to make sure your speakers are not muted or turned off. The next step is to refresh your screen by pressing the F5 key on your keyboard or clicking the “refresh” button in your web browser. If you are having trouble viewing the video or the chat and you are connected to a VPN, try disconnecting from the VPN (if possible) and reloading the page to see if that helps.

Do I need to watch the recorded webinar in one sitting? Can I revisit it later?

Once you have purchased a recorded webinar you will always have access to it. You can view it on your own time and can pause the recording to revisit at any point.

How do I cancel my registration?

Registration is non-refundable. If you registered for the Virtual Summit and are unable to attend, you will receive access to a recording at no extra cost. The recording will still provide Continuing Education credit

How do I earn Continuing Education credit?

Live Summit Sessions

After attending the live session on Zoom, you will be redirected to a page where you can complete the quiz and evaluation. Once those have been successfully completed, you can choose from a listing of available certificates to use as proof of participating in the live or recorded webinar. Then you may save and/or print the certificate for your records.

Recorded Summit Sessions

After viewing the recording you will be redirected to a page where you can complete the webinar quiz and evaluation. Once those have been successfully completed, you can choose from a listing of available certificates to use as proof of participating in the live or recorded webinar. Then you may save and/or print the certificate for your records. Please note that the recorded webinar must be viewed in it’s entirety before the quiz and evaluation will become available!

How many credits of CE can I earn by attending the Virtual Summit?

You can earn up to 3 continuing education credits by attending the virtual summit in its entirety.

If I miss the live webinar I registered for, can I still watch a recording and receive Continuing Education credit?

Yes! If you registered for but missed the live airing of the webinar, you will be able to access the recording once it is made available. Once you have viewed the recorded webinar in its entirety you will be able to take the quiz and receive Continuing Education credit.

Does the ABCT Virtual Summit offer Continuing Education for social workers outside of New York state?

Currently our webinars do not offer Continuing Education for social workers outside of New York state.

If I fail the quiz, can I take it again?

Yes! You can retake the quiz only once, so please make sure you understand the material before retaking the quiz.
